The functional criteria for this mini rail was to provide a sturdy, corrosion proof hand to hold to get in and out of this rather deep tub.

The aesthetic criteria was a texture and colour to blend with the rough stone and pewter textures.  I was also asked to mirror the curved elements of wall and tub as well as utilizing the step.  The vertical posts are 1 ½ “ diameter solid steel pierced to hold the 1” diameter solid horizontal bars.  A very solid, heavy piece that enhances its surrounding beautifully.
